What is the Ice Marathon?
Ice Marathon is a major winter sports event at Kuopio harbor on the natural ice of Lake Kallavesi. The event is suitable for all winter sports enthusiasts.
Tracks are prepared every winter on Lake Kallavesi for walking, skating, cycling, or kick-sledding. Ice Marathon is a two-day competitive event where skaters race against each other and the clock. The event is also open for other recreational skaters.
